Monsoon Photos at Lake Powell - Flash Flood Caution
Every year the Lake Powell area along with great parts of the west go through monsoon season. Flash floods are a common problem in parts of Arizona and Utah and each year it seems lives are lost to the flooding.
These are photos I shot from Big Water, UT today looking East toward Page, AZ and Lake Powell showing a typical afternoon monsoon weather pattern. The water falling in the right of the photos is over an area which contains Antelope Canyon, the worlds most photographed Slot Canyon.
